Row Field wo field hoti hai jiske basis par data ko vertical direction mein arrange kiya jata hai.
Agar sales data mein ye fields hain:
| Salesperson | City | Product | Sales |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rahul | Delhi | Laptop | ₹50,000 |
| Amit | Delhi | Mobile | ₹30,000 |
| Neha | Rohini | Laptop | ₹45,000 |
| Ravi | Rohini | Mobile | ₹25,000 |
Agar City ko Rows area mein drag karenge:
| City | Total Sales |
|---|---|
| Delhi | ₹80,000 |
| Rohini | ₹70,000 |
| Grand Total | ₹1,50,000 |
👉 Yahan City = Row Field hai.
Column Field wo field hoti hai jiske basis par data ko horizontal direction mein arrange kiya jata hai.
Agar Product ko Columns area mein drag karein:
| City | Laptop | Mobile | Grand Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Delhi | ₹50,000 | ₹30,000 | ₹80,000 |
| Rohini | ₹45,000 | ₹25,000 | ₹70,000 |
| Grand Total | ₹95,000 | ₹55,000 | ₹1,50,000 |
👉 Yahan City = Row Field aur Product = Column Field hai.
Apne data ke andar kisi bhi cell par click karein.
Insert → PivotTable par click karein.
PivotTable Fields panel open hoga.
Ismein generally 4 areas hote hain:
Required field ko mouse se drag karke Rows ya Columns area mein drop karein.
Example:
Rows → City
Columns → Product
Values → Sales
Isse Excel city aur product ke according sales ka summary table bana dega.
Pivot Table ki सबसे अच्छी बात यह है कि आप fields को आसानी से rearrange कर सकते हैं।
Rows → City
Columns → Product
Values → Sales
Rows → Product
Columns → City
Values → Sales
Isse report ka structure automatically change ho jayega.
Ek se zyada fields ko Rows area mein bhi arrange kiya ja sakta hai.
Example:
Rows:
City
Product
Values:
Sales
Result kuch is tarah ho sakta hai:
| City | Product | Sales |
|---|---|---|
| Delhi | Laptop | ₹50,000 |
| Mobile | ₹30,000 | |
| Rohini | Laptop | ₹45,000 |
| Mobile | ₹25,000 |
👉 Isse City ke andar Product-wise analysis kiya ja sakta hai.
Columns area mein bhi multiple fields rakhe ja sakte hain.
Example:
Rows → City
Columns:
Product
Month
Values → Sales
Isse city ke according Product + Month wise comparison kiya ja sakta hai.
Suppose student data mein:
Aap bana sakte hain:
Rows → Course
Columns → Gender
Values → Count of Student Name
Result:
| Course | Male | Female | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Digital Marketing | 20 | 15 | 35 |
| Graphic Designing | 12 | 18 | 30 |
| Tally | 25 | 10 | 35 |
Isse pata chalega ki har course mein kitne students hain aur unka category-wise distribution kya hai.
| Rows | Columns |
|---|---|
| Data ko vertical arrange karta hai | Data ko horizontal arrange karta hai |
| Categories left side mein dikhata hai | Categories top side mein dikhata hai |
| City, Product, Course etc. | Product, Month, Gender etc. |
| Detailed grouping ke liye useful | Comparison ke liye useful |
Rows = Kis ke according list/group karna hai?
Columns = Kis ke saath comparison karna hai?
Values = Kya calculate karna hai?
Example:
Rows → City
Columns → Product
Values → Sales
👉 Meaning: Har city mein different products ki total sales compare karna.
“Pivot Table mein Rows aur Columns mein fields arrange karna ek process hai jisme data fields ko vertical aur horizontal categories mein organize karke comparison aur analysis ke liye summary report banayi jati hai.”
