Formula Bar

The Formula Bar is an important part of Microsoft Excel. It is located above the worksheet area and is used to view, enter, and edit the contents of the selected cell.

Jab hum kisi cell ko select karte hain, us cell ke andar jo bhi information hoti hai—such as text, number, or formula—woh Formula Bar mein दिखाई देती है.

Simple Example

Suppose cell B2 contains:

85

When we select B2, the value 85 can be seen in the Formula Bar.

If B2 contains a formula:

=SUM(B2:B6)

then the formula can be viewed and edited through the Formula Bar.

Formula Bar ka main use

Formula Bar kaise use karein?

Select Cell
     ↓
Formula Bar mein Content Dikhega
     ↓
Content ko Check / Edit karein
     ↓
Enter Press karein
     ↓
Updated Result Cell mein Show Hoga

Example

Agar C2 mein formula hai:

=A2+B2

Cell C2 ko select karne par Formula Bar mein:

=A2+B2

dikhai dega.

Aap Formula Bar mein formula ko directly edit bhi kar sakte hain.

Easy Way to Remember

Formula Bar = Selected Cell ke content ko dekhne aur edit karne ki jagah.

Important Point

Formula Bar ka use sirf formulas ke liye nahi hota. Ismein selected cell ka text, number, date, ya formula bhi view aur edit kiya ja sakta hai.
